I have had this for about 6 years, and it works great.I use it as much as my green egg. One pro is since it's analog, you can unplug the heating element and clean it with a pressure washer. Try that with a digital smoker 😆 . I do use a smoke tube laid across the heating element for more smoke. It's very easy to use and clean.

Awesome smoker. Can't beat this for the money.

I had the digital one and after a few years the digital panel went out so I couldn't turn it on. They sent me a new one and I was back in business. If I bought another one, this is the one I would get. Don't get the one with the window, after 5 minutes you can't see shit anyway.

Put a fork in an electric socket and see if you begin to smoke or not. 😅

I have this one. Bought it on a Lowe's BF deal a few years back. It worked well but I don't like having to open the door to refill the wood chips. It let's out the heat and the smoke. My heating element went out on it so I am debating on a new element or getting a new one that allows me to put wood chips in without opening the door.
I had the original posted as well, and hated opening the door to add chips. I gave it away when we moved. Later replaced it with this one, that I paid $157 for last July

Just remember that these are smaller hot boxes without air getting into them so your cooks are also faster. I think that's a bonus but some people want to wait 18 hours for a brisket. I can do a rack of ribs in 4 hours instead of 6 at 225 cause it stays hot.

Walmart had them on clearance for $40 last year. Used it twice. Pretty inconsistent with keeping temps. Had to babysit for 14 hours when making a 19lb brisket. Came out really well though.
I thought mine wasn't working either. I set it to 225 and it would go anywhere from 210 to 240. I then learned that it will heat all the way to 240 and then turn off until it drops to 210 then turn on all the way back to 250. The time it cooks under temp is made up by the extra time over temp. I'm new to smoking and idk if that is correct as I always thought it should just stay at 225 but I will tell you the ribs were the best I've ever had.
