A good price, if you are okay with Best Buy open box.

Does this not have thunderbolt though? I checked the HP website and all Intel based Omen 16.1 models seem to have thunderbolt (as did the previous generation with the Intel 12th).

Everything seems great except the screen. 45% NTSC with 250 nit brightness. Hold off… plenty of great laptop deals recently

Yeah it's a shame these "budget" gaming laptops have such mediocre screens. 1080p is fine since most games you'd sacrifice res for frame rate anyways, but give us a little better display.

I've got an old HP OMEN refurb I like a lot for HTPC, don't even use the nice screen. I just sent it in for service. I actually skipped a year of warranty and bought the 3rd year. It's the knarly looking one with weird hinges. 16GB of ram and i7 for $600ish GTX 950 worked out well.
