Discount Mags has a sale on The Economist Magazine
Digital only subscription - $59.99/1 year
Digital + print - $89.95/1 year

They have 2 and 3 year options as well but those are more expensive per year.

I very rarely post so sorry if I made any mistakes and I didn't see this already posted when I searched.

Deal unfortunately appears to be dead as of early this morning. "This Promotion Ended on Jun 20th, 2023 at 12:59 AM EST"

Do you mind sharing any thoughts on how an individual capitalizes on this magazine? I'm trying to look for an edge in specific stock information that are indicators of bullish trends (at least 20%).

This magazine isn't going to help you pick stocks. It's more about helping you understand the conservative European (with a UK bias of course) view of the world. It's very high quality journalism and very informative.

In the past, I've used my library app to view digital copies of many magazine publications. Might want to look there first.

Deal appears to be working again. I also saw a "You missed it" error previously, but just revisited and was able to order. Used https://www.discountmags.com/prom...ountjune23 and then searched to find it.

Bloody hell. I'd at least want the physical copies at that price.

Before anyone goes off at me, remember these things are stuffed with advertisements.

this magazine is very centered, people accuse it of being left and people accuse it of being right. this is because they go where the facts lead them, and sometimes its in one of those directions

I still feel like they lean slightly conservative, but I do think it's accurate to say that they are very factual and try to be balanced. I feel like there is some flavoring of colonialism in the writing, particularly prominent in their coverage of India and Narendra Modi. Even though I don't always agree with the Economist, I feel that it's wonderful for your personal development to read high quality writing with viewpoints that don't align with yours. I feel we'd all be off better in America if we stopped embracing media echo chambers.
