This is not a solution for running your home during a power outage, this is a solution for running some smaller appliances/devices a while.

There are many models (including some that can run a whole house but you're talking $5k+ for a unit like that) that have different specs that are good for different use cases so you really know what you're looking to power, how long, and anticipated power draw.

It's not true. This delta 2 has simultaneous charge and solar priority mode. Don't forget it's a mini computer and ecoflow brings new stuff once in a while via firmware update

Dang, $1050 for 2kWh worth of Delta 2 (all LFP battery) is a pretty good deal. If I didn't already have a D2 (plus another battery/inverter setup), I'd bite.

I paid about $930 for the D2 with a 160W solar panel back in November.. this is a steal by comparison in terms of price-per-kWh.

Newbie here that's looking at these. How useful are these during prolonged periods of outage? Worried about recharging

I did the same deal last year. I agree that I would have preferred this deal, but if you wanted a solar panel , I wouldn't say that this deal is a steal in comparison. The solar panel sells for $350, making the price of the D2 similar to this deal.

Im in the market for one of these devices for power outages mostly, but the fact only two of the outlets on this unit is 3 prong and the rest is 2 prong has me hesitating.

I am new to generator. If I buy this, how would I set it up? Do I need an electrician or can I set it up myself?
Also, how do I select what things I want on generation and what I would leave out such as water pump etc ?

I stumbled upon this yesterday and mentioned it in a different Delta 2 thread. It was perfect timing because I had a 10% off coupon on the Home Depot credit card that was due to expire on Wednesday. I applied the coupon and paid $944 plus tax.

That felt like a Slickdeal indeed.

I had been watching Will Prowse videos recently. Consequently I had all the recommended particulars in my Amazon cart...LifePO4 battery, inverter, controller, fuse box, discharge monitor, etc.

Once I pounced on this Home Depot deal I said screw that and deleted everything.
