This is actually a "popular deal" by votes.SD does also list popular deals on the FP and has for years, IT is not technically a Front Page deal, as it is not live. It will be though, There is a difference between a popular deal showing up on the main front page of the site and a true Front Page deal. Popular deals have orange tabs and FP deals have blue tabs, which is the way to tell as well as a FP moderator posting the deal in FP format just under the OP. Amazon deals like this end up FP. SD loves it because they like Amazon deals for profit and the community loves saving a dollar form Amazon or more. If the OP likes posting GC deals, Amazon deals or any deals, I am all for that. I am not spending my time investigating them or you but hopefully you also post deals and give back to the community.
My guess is as long as they have been posting deals they have a big following of other members who upvote and support it. This place is a popularity contest. And is montetized and has lots of staff-posted deals. Also many deals do get posted in advance such as for Costco's upcoming sales items and coupon books.

Someone else would have posted it had he not, as is evidenced from the reposts you will be seeing pop up well in advance. I see one already by another non-staffer. Why hate on members posting deals at all? In advance means more warning to set your calendar. Are you begrudging them the popularity for posting a very popular deal in advance? How about we simply support deals being posted that can benefit us, regardless? If not, I see no reason to complain about it.
Keep your head in the sand bub.

I think you are accusing the OP of being a secret affiliate/agent working for SD. While that could be true, they are not an official employee. So maybe you should edit to say you believe they are a secret shill.

I take deals as they come, regardless of their source. I try to use what I like and leave the rest. Your belief matters not to me so I don't care, other than pointing out your incorrect statement. They are not listed as an employee so I would not say they were like you did which started this convo. You posted an accusation based on their posting lots of e-GC deals in advance as you claimed. My head is focusing on the deal, not the poster's history of posting similar deals (per your apparent research that I am not wasting my time to verify).Peace
