KitchenAid has their Refurbished Professional series stand mixers on sale for $250 in multiple colors.

These are normally $400 refurbished, and $600 new - so it's a fantastic deal if you don't mind a few minor scuffs in the finish. I purchased one of the 5-quart Refurbished models last year and it looked practically new (other than a few small nicks in the paint).

Should be more love for this deal. If you place the item in your cart and wait a couple of hours, Kitchenaid should send you a 10% off coupon to complete the order. Plus 3% cash back at the former buy.com. Total came to $206.01 before the 3% cash back. Solid deal.

Worked perfectly took about 5 hours for the coupon. $225 even before taxes.

Thanks, also used this for $225 pre-tax. I received the email coupon ~4 hours after adding the mixer to my cart.

I waited about 14 hrs for my code to arrive via email. Almost thought it wasnt going to work for me but totally worth that $25 + tax drop in price.

This may be obvious but remember to create an account tied to an email address and to check that inbox from Kitchenaid.

Is there a warranty included with this? I'm not seeing one.

Edit: after searching the Q&A of the product it appears to have a 1 year warranty.

FYI. I called customer service and lady informed me the attachment will NOT be stainless steel BECAUSE refurbished. It will either be aluminum or coated.

Look up aluminum and coated. If you trust it in your food ....enjoy.

All these disease and cancer have exploded. 1950's stainless steel has always worked and making cheaper aluminum or attachments NOT for me.

Hopefully it helps others make an INFORMED DECISION with eyes open.

Nothing to do with our ability to detect those conditions has improved...nothing against your "INFORMED OPINION".

I have had both this machine and the Artisan version...I prefer the tilt up and down over the lift system. Obviously my opinion. It is just easier to add things for me.
