Reviews looked pretty good! I got a bamboo one on a price error for like $10 but it really only holds like 9 pairs of shoes. I wanted to get another for a long bench set but now its $45 Frown Found this to replace it and it looks so much better!

That markup is nuts! Probably another case of shortages inflating something along the way, like labor, parts, or logistics. Plastic poles and engineered wood doesn't make for $99 shoe racks.

Then there's the fakespot rating [fakespot.com] for the product and company. I get they want to make this look like a bargain, but it would be generous to say this ugly thing was originally a $99 value.

"oak"? What a farking joke. Guaranteed, this is going some kind of composite with laminate finish. Pass on this and go for something that is real wood. Browse your local Facebook marketplace, Goodwill, or Habitat ReStore to find something actually worth more than this price tag.

It likely means the "style" not the material. It's made to look like oak pattern.

All of these cheap things are probably crappy and def not real wood. Haha.

I bought this last April 2022 for $22 and it's very durable and really nice looking.

This company makes garbage quality stuff. The top will peel off with any sort of scuff or scratch. There's no way this will hold up as a shoe rack. The only thing you can put is decorations which will never need to be moved

Can I buy 2 of these and stack them together? Not on top of the other but built to be connected.

Not a hardware expert but from the looks of it you would need some additional screws, I think you can connect the sides together. How so? Not sure haha. Really depends on the threading on the side boards, I would think. I do wonder if you can just put them side-by-side and use screws long enough for both side boards. Matter in fact, I'm going to unbox mine to double check!

Edit:
Side panels use a screw to connect to the shelving so connecting two side-by-side in the manner I mentioned earlier won't work. Unless you use a double-ended screw (like this [homedepot.com]), which would work I would think, but then again, I am no expert laugh out loud

I avoid these things because they are so terribly cheap material, yes I know it is $29.60 but the materials are probably worth less than $10 tops. I have a bunch of items from the same company and I can tell you the plastic on these things have the tensile strength of a 10 plastic straws rubber banded together.

Go to Home Depot and see how much lumber you can get for $10.

At the current rate of inflation, 10 plastic straws and a few rubber bands will cost more than $10 pretty soon.

I just put this together earlier this week. It is pretty solid and good size. You can fit 3 men's sized shoes in each row. The rows are high enough to fit some high top basketball shoes. I would recommend it for this price (which is what I paid).
