Slick deal on a slick laptop. IMO this is not very "ThinkPad" but it's a hell of an ultrabook nonetheless

Torn between this and the Flex 5 [costco.com]. Seems like the intel processor Core i5-1235U is better than the yoga's. But Yoga has a better screen and resolution, but also costs $180 more.

There is a certain cash back site that has 11% return at Lenovo today, which would make it cheaper than the Ebay price, but then you have to deal with the wait or possible non-approval of cashback.

Big difference in build quality between the 2. Previous flex series had broken hinge issue, not sure if it was ever fixed.

Most people think 3:2 and 16:10 is a good thing, since it's better for productivity. The only thing 16:9 is good for is media consumption.

IMHO this is still not a good deal. This laptop gets hot with so-so graphics. I would pull the trigger at 500$ personally. You can get an i7 Carbon for this price.

I have a Carbon as my work laptop. But it's not really a fair comparison to make with a Yoga.

I think the HP specter that is advertised here on SD at Best Buy open box is a better deal. The Intel CPU processor seems to be much better

There are many reports on issues with haptic feedback trackpad on this model, and also underperforming cpu.
There was many returns on this laptop, that's I imagine is why Lenovo never released Gen2 of this product and looks like abandoning this model.
But still, it's a very good build quality and for a $500 is a great deal if you don't need a huge screen and top cpu performance. I was personally considering to purchase this model, but decided to go with Thinpad T14s gen3 with AMD processor, for better battery life and performance.
