I bought the 7900xt and I like amd in general, but this was probably one of the worst comparisons I've seen someone make to try and justify a purchase. The 4090, in REAL WORLD comparison(for games only) is roughly 30% faster than this, not just 8 to 10 fps. 8k is not even around the corner with people just leaving 1080p to QHD en masse right now, so we're far off even from 4k. Don't, just don't.

I would argue Saphire is the superior brand. I've had 3 of their cards and was happy each time. Great build quality for AMD cards. I don't have this model, but I had an rx580, rx5700 and an old 270 model
I don't remember the details of, just that it had 2nd if VRAM, lol.

$720 with 5% CB via Amazon hits the threshold I was waiting for to pull the trigger on a card like this (was also considering 4070 Ti if it hit $700 or less first).
Just ordered. Super excited! Upgrading from an RTX 3060, so this'll be roughly a 2.5x performance increase. 👀
