1. This is the v2 which I assume is just the Costco one but with two brakes The Costco model only had one brake and I suspect it was failing for a lot of people, because they did for us and they basically exchanged it instantly without any questions asked. The two-brake one has been fine so far though, it's been about a year.
2.It's a fold-up bike but don't expect to ride it to the bus stop and fold it up and put it under your seat, it's something like 40 pounds and is pretty bulky even folded up. The fold-up is mostly so it'll fit in the trunk of your car, unless you look like "Macho Man" Randy Savage you probably won't be hoiisting it around under one arm on a regular basis.
3. It was advertised as going up to 25 mph but the speedometer is sus, it actually goes up to exactly the legal max of 20mph so its probably intentional. Gets a bit over 10 miles on throttle in most practical use cases, less in winter or if your route is really hilly.
4. It's a small bike. I'm not even 6ft tall and it's pretty low. I don't think anyone is going to seriously judge you when you zoom past them at 20mph but if you were hoping to make use of the pedal assist and are any more than like 5ft tall, I wouldn't bother cause it's just gonna give you leg cramps.
Overall it's a decent bike for grandma to commute to church with, especially at that price, but if you're really hardcore into whatever bike thing you may want to go up a price tier or two.

I believe that is also similar size but not portable.

Thanks for your interest. This bike weighs about 45 pounds and folds for easy storage.
