It's not the same kit at all and the wiring harness is free if its a older vehicle or you have the bare minimum wiring harness with no steering wheel controls, on star etc.

Looks like Crutchfield does not have the backup camera kit.

Do you know what wiring harness is needed? I've never installed this, so I don't know how to search for the right harnesses.

Depends on what car you have. You can use Crutchfield to figure it out and then buy elsewhere.
