How much your brokerage charge you for buying CDs through them? May I ask which brokerage too?
No fee from any brokerage house but there is a fee to sell them. The banks pay the brokerage houses the fee. Irony is that my local bank sells CDs through Schwab and I get 1-2% higher that way. The walk in rates are pretty bad.
TD Ameritrade which is now Schwab, Fidelity, Vanguard seem to be the ones mentioned the most.
