Contest begins at 9:00:00 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time ("EDT") on June 21, 2023, and ends at 9:00:00 a.m. EDT on September 1, 2023
: (1) complete the entry form, and (2) describe, in three hundred (300) characters or less, an "Act of Aloha" you would like to perform ("Entry" or "Essay").
If an Essay exceeds three hundred (300) characters, only the first three hundred (300) characters will be judged.
Limit one (1) Entry per person per Entry Period.
The Judging Criteria consists of the Entry describing an "Act of Aloha," which is defined as a future action to be taken by the Entrant demonstrating: (1) positivity; (2) joy, (3) human connection; (4) an act that is performed without expectation or reward; (5) an act that is performed in connection with making the best out of a bad situation; (6) an act that is welcoming and inclusive; and/or (7) an act when someone goes out of their way to do something nice for someone else. The Panel will award points to each Entry based on relevance to the Judging Criteria. For each Entry Period, the one (1) Entry receiving the highest amount of points from the Panel will be deemed the prize winner for the applicable Entry Period
PRIZE DETAILS:
Prizes (1 per Entry Period, see Rule No. 2 and Rule No.4): Each winner will receive one (1) $5,000.00 check made payable to the winner. The Approximate Retail Value ("ARV") of each prize is $5,000.00.For New Jersey residents: The prize should not be used to purchase Kona Big Wave beer. Terms and Conditions received with the e-check apply. If winner cannot accept prize as specified, prize will be forfeited and may be awarded to an alternate winner. Total ARV of all prizes is up to $25,000.00.
