If the laptop supports sata m.2 then yes.

That is a narrow window of laptops like Intel 6th gen for example. Maybe Intel 7th gen. But every model laptop newer then that is running nvme m.2 which is different

SATA really needs to be put in the title in a more prominent location like put it after team group and before model number

Some devices like NUC as well as some laptops have both nvme and M2 sata. Useful for secondary storage for non-high speed data needs.
