Great deal, odd for N95 -> DDR5 pair up though esp at this price point. It is amazing how cheap and good minipc have come in the last year. I think we are maybe a year out from a respectable gaming GPU minipc.

They're newer and "Better" by typical generational updates, but the biggest significant change is this generation actually includes AVX instructions. Useful if it's useful to you sorts of stuff.

I do a bunch of silly things with my n100, and it keeps chugging along just fine (kwikix hosting, pihole, grafana, small web interface for home automation, coral picture evaluation, etc). For non-interactive duties, this is pretty great.

I currently use an N95 with 16GB RAM to run Plex and other Docker apps. Works fine as a simple media server!

As to why you might want something like this that runs Windows... I have an older Intel NUC that I run Windows on with a large external RAID enclosure to serve as a network drive which also backs up to Backblaze Unlimited (which isn't supported on Linux or NAS). Still works fine otherwise I'd be all over this as a replacement.

I haven't seen any with dual 2.5g so I bet there is not enough bandwidth. I have one with one 2.5g port and the M.2 2280 interface only has 2 pcie lanes exposed instead of the normal 4. The one I have also has a M.2 2242 msata interface so that may be why I only have half the lanes.

Refurb mini PCs with older gen CPUs but comparable passmark are like 1/3 the cost on ebay. I guess if you only buy new this is pretty good

could be doesnt mention wifi except on the pro. but i think wifi is standard nowadays.

id rather get 16GB+512GB if it was cheaper maybe $150. Amazon currently $200 after $60 off coupon.

It really depends on what you're after. This Alder Lake has a decent benchmark score and more importantly for Plex users, modern Intel Quicksync for offloading HEVC decoding. This is an excellent deal, I'm just wondering if it's worth a couple bucks more to get a mini PC with an N100, more memory, and more stream processors.

I have pretty much got all components for my gaming PC build. I don't have os yet. Can I buy this little cheap PC and then clone the win pro to that gaming PC then use this cheap PC as a Ubuntu server ?
