for checked luggage, most agents at the counter only check the weight. as to the size, as logn as you can put it on the belt conveyor, it will be fine

I have 2 sets of the Omni 2 20" & 24". We took Hawaii trip this spring and these went through 5 flights without a malfunction, scratch or dent. Recommended. Carry On does have a USB port and pocket for battery, but you will need your own battery to charge.

The 2 piece is still available at $167. The cheapest 3 piece is $308 for the Nova Teal color. Frown

Samsonite is selling another 3 piece set on their site for $280 with a choice of colors. No idea what the differences are between the 2 sets.

Looking at the pictures on their website, I think the centric is basically the Omni with minor upgrades. Wheels are beefier and handle is multistage. Carryon has usb etc. Guess I'll stick with the centric

If you like this I would keep an eye out on Amazon, I bought Friday afternoon and by the time I came back to the page after purchasing, price had jumped up to $300. So seems like maybe they're bringing the price back down every so often.

From the Reviews of both luggage's on wheels the Omni 2 seems to got a better wheels. Of course it might not be the case

From the pictures, the Omni 2 seems to have dual wheels which might be more durable than the Omni PC.
