This is not the bigger brother, motion boom plus, which was on sale for $126. I have not listened to this smaller one, but reviews are good for $80.

I got one off SD, I think it was Walmart deal maybe around $80, though could be totally wrong. Anyway this thing is pretty solid, the lights are a gimmick though kids like it. Bring it pool side, boat, garage for workouts. I think the sound is great battery life is great, app is good too. Love mine.

Just bought this speaker at Walmart for $79.99. Very solid speaker for the price plus the bass is good.

I had one for about a year now. Just bought a second one a couple months ago. They sound great, pair together easily, and the size is still good for traveling. However that being said, I kinda wish I spent the extra $20-30 to get the Boom+ instead of 2 of these at $109 and $70(refurb).

I have one. A good deal would be $60 and I'd scoop a second one to pair them. $80 is still a decent deal though imo.

This Boom is 30 watts like my pretty small old Sony that I continue to use and enjoy. I also have a Sony that puts out 40 watts. The Boom+ puts out a whopping 80 watts for a bluetooth speaker.

Reviews for them are fine, but its not a great sounding speaker, go w/ a any of the Sonos or JBL portable speaker instead, for a bluetooth portable those have better imaging, presentation, and response. I own this speaker and its larger brother thinking that louder would be better, but honestly the tonality & output is not impressive. Battery life is decent, App EQ doesnt really help out that much. Its a pretty mediocre speaker. Bass output is really poor for something of its size, it is nice and chonky if you plan to toss it around a lot it feels pretty sturdy though.

I have two of these paired together and bring them to the Tennis/Pickleball courts every weekend. I usually place one speaker on both sides of the court and everyone is always impressed with the sound quality. You definitely need to tweek the equalizer settings on the app to get the most out of them though. I love that when I press the power button to turn one speaker off, the other automatically turns off as well. I wish there was a way to force the two speakers to play "mono" for those times I want to space the speakers apart over multiple courts.

I bought this one and end up returning it within 30 days. If you listen to a lot of music with bass like rap and hip hop music then you'll be very disappointed.

I have 3 of the "Flare 2" speakers. Looking to add something with partycast that can add more bass to the mix. Doesn't seem like this comes with partycast though, anyone have another suggestion?
