Placed a $415 order last night but decided not to include this, changed my mind today; ordered! Price is too good.

Fantastic price! Only own one 40v battery, otherwise I'd be all over this!

The batteries are not super cheap but you can find them for pretty good prices on reseller sites.

That's a crazy good price. I am hoping that this will be the blem price for when the 18v power station comes out.

If this came with 2 40v batteries, I can see this being a good deal. Otherwise, this only would be useful for people that have heavily invested in their 40v lines.

Would have been great if this was an 18v inverter that accepted 8 batteries. Like the rest of the SD community, we have an over abundance of 18v batteries from various deals.

This is missing the 2 batteries that usually come with it.

Useless unless you have batteries.

With power station with solar charging becomes more and more popular, this thing is redundant and pricey. I can't see any target buyers.

So does this come with the charger for four batteries or not?
Edit: I see the unit itself holds the batteries. Just curious about cable and if it is proprietary or not.

Depending on the price. 8 18v 4.0 battery is only 576wh, but very bulky and heavy. Other full features power station with 512wh lipo4 battery would be less than $300.

Doesn't have solar input. The only way to charge it is to plug in an AC outlet. Not cool.

Everything is dependent on the price. This is SD where people buy useless things for cheap. I jokingly mentioned the 18v inverter as we all have lots of those battery packs. But if it was cheap enough, why not get one.

These inverters are not worth getting unless you are heavily invested in a particular voltage line. Pulling 1800 watts from this is great. But you'll need a lot of batteries with lots of ah to sustain any real life usage.

It's meant for indoor use. Hence no solar input.

They should make something like this for the 18v batteries

Oh, man. Didn't need it immediately, but I have 6+ 40v batteries, so this would make a great addition to my line-up...

In for 1. Thanks OP. Repped...
