I am starting to wonder how vineyard vines is doing as a business. I have been buying their products for about 10 years, and they rarely had sales in the past. Around the holidays they might have 15% off or something like that. Black Friday they were normally like 30% off. Now it's weekly they have some type of "sale" or outlet deals.

Vineyard vines outlet stuff is horrific quality. Stuff shrinks instantly or rips. Colors bleed. Better off paying for discounted real VV stuff if you want it to last more than a few weeks.

I've had the opposite experience. Most of what I buy comes from the outlet and it never shrinks and colors are just as good years down the road. I've only had one shirt that the design cracked but I think that was because it got dryed at too hot of a temperature.

I've wondered the same thing but it may be that they actually are selling more this way and making a higher profit in total. Could just be the economy. I've noticed other retailers that are in the same category as VV having more and bigger sales than I've seen in the past. I hadn't gotten anything from Ralph Lauren and this year I've gotten several 25% off coupons and one 30% off coupon which I don't remember ever getting one that high.

i like their gear but like most of these clothes sales its clearance stuff that I mostly don't want. The few things I do are only on sale in a Small.
