Oh, very nice price. I don't have a bike computer yet and do a lot of riding, both road and mtb. My other gear (watch and chest strap) is garmin though - do these play nicely together or should I just keep waiting for a deal on the Garmin equivalent? I already track all of my running and cycling in Garmin Connect, so I'm guessing this would add another app/service to keep track of? ELMNT it looks like?

I see ANT+ integration so chest strap should work fine.

Anybody have experience with both Wahoo and Garmin cycling computers and have experience or thoughts to share? Looks like this would even have integration on some level with the rear light radar from Garmin that I've been planning to pick up, through ANT+?

EDIT: Comes with a chest strap, interesting. Wonder if my wife could use it separately, since I already have one.

I use a Garmin watch to broadcast HR to my Wahoo Bolt (and Kickr when needed), and a Garmin radar (no-light model) integrates nicely with the Bolt as well. Wahoo setup is really quick and easy. This is a great price for everything you need

You can use heart rate monitor separately. Be it with Garmin watch for activities or coro/apple watch

That tickr heart rate strap is $40-45 alone (also on Amazon

For those wondering what the bundle includes: Bolt V2 computer, heart rate sensor (Tickr), cadence sensor, speed sensor.

On the used market, the Bolt V2 alone is selling for around $180-$200, so this is a steal when you include the sensors which run $40-$50 a piece msrp (although all three are on sale for $30-40 on Wahoos website).

Thanks to both of you - I went ahead and ordered; if nothing else I will throw it on one of my wife's bikes for her to use (or should I pick up another bundle for her... 🤔 😅).

Excited to get some more data (to mostly ignore 😇) on my rides! And to hopefully almost crash less on the trails trying to look at the info on my watch..

Actually what do folks with multiple bikes do for bike computers? I do something like 65/35 mountain biking vs road biking, and I'm guessing I can easily get another mount and pop the computer itself back and forth, but it'd kinda be a pain to swap the cadence and speed sensors over each time I go for a different ride, right? If I pick up another set of the sensors, is it easy/quick enough to pair a different .. pair of sensors to the computer when swapping bikes?

EDIT: Found this - https://www.bikeforums.net/electr...-bike.html

So seems to be pretty easy. Might grab another set of sensors while they're on sale now, then.

EDIT 2: So, $20 for an additional mount and $55 for the second set of sensors.. Almost doesn't make sense to not get a second one to give my wife (she won't care about not having cadence and would be plenty happy with GPS speed (or would just ignore speed altogether), but would probably like the maps.

I use my bike computer (Hammerhead Karoo 2) with my road and gravel bike and just set different profiles for them. On road bike my Assioma power meter pedals will provide cadence info so no need for cadence sensor. On gravel bike, I have a separate cadence sensor. The profiles know which sensor(s) are attached to what bike so they won't be searching for sensors constantly. Works out great and just need to buy another mount.

On another note, the Karoo 2 is also on sale for $140 off so $259 instead of normal $399. I originally had the Wahoo Bolt but returned it and got the Karoo 2. Much better GUI and graphics IMO. Plus they have bi-weekly updates on the Karoo so the software is always improving.

I originally had a Wahoo Roam v1, but recently got the Hammerhead Karoo 2.

Pros:
- Nicer screen and interface.
- Better for navigation cause of the touch screen and has street names that are read-able.

Cons:
- Worse battery life than Wahoo
- Screen has more glare than Wahoo

This Bolt is a really nice deal though if it fits your needs. The Karoo is better for me.

Same question. Already own the Garmin HR strap, a forerunner soon to be a epix 2 pro, and the varia radar. Should I be waiting for a Garmin bike computer?

Those will all work just fine on Wahoo.

My two cents - I like the Wahoo interface and simplicity. My son has the Edge 530 and even with as technically savvy as he is, he finds it not intuitive. If you Google "garmin vs wahoo" you'll get a lot more in depth results for expert reviews.
