Seriously. They definitely had some deep pockets to pay for all the advertising. I they're mentioned on every Reddit/YouTube/IG/etc 3D printing related post it seems.
Does look to be a good, feature packed printer, but what I don't like is it's not open source and the repairability seems questionable. Having run multiple printers for years I know these things are machines and need maintenance, part replacements, service, etc, and I haven't read Bambu is the best in supporting that department.

This is their cheaper option, not the one that came on Kickstarter. This printer is amazing, haven't turned my prusa on in months because this is just so much faster. Just ordered my second one so feel free to ask any questions.

The other day there were already many who wrote about the P1P in the K1 deal I posted. The AMS of the P1P is nice, that would be the main reason for me to get one. The Qidi and Creality alternatives are still a bit cheaper for the printer only, so for fast single color printing you can consider other printers too. But there is no real alternative with a reliable MMU at this price.
Crazy easy, like 4 screws. You just unhook the wire, undo the screws, slide it out then slide the new one in and redo the process
Clearly your not a part of the Bambu community. They sell, not as well as the X1C though. My guess is they have sold slower than expected and there is competition from the K1 in this price range.

"Early investments like tooling, NRE costs have also been largely amortized by now. Another factor I don't want to overlook is competition. After examining the financial statements and the market competition landscape, my conclusion is that we have to push a step further to keep up. This is why we will reduce the price of our Bambu Lab P1P by around 100 dollars (on all stores), to make it more accessible for people who are looking to get one of our printers and share the 3D printing passion with us."
