Not sure if this fits or not... but
I bought a ford f250 super duty last May thinking I was going to be going rv'n and it just didn't work out and i had second thoughts..75k later... I have a truck I drive to the store and my kid to school in. Not very useful in that regard. I was thinking of trading it in for a TESLA, i don't need anything super sporty so I was thinking of a standard model 3. However, it's likely my trade-in will be in the 65-70k range since my mileage even after a 3000-mile trip to Vermont/niagara and back is only at 5700 after 1 year. anyway, the 7500$ tax credit, would i still be able to get that if they end up owing me money on a trade-in?

If the truck is paid for you may want to look at selling it to a dealer or to a private party.
Carvana, CarMax and others will provide online trade in values.
