How does this compare to the ASRock? The base price of this one is slightly higher but after discounts they both come out to $499

The ASRock has more reviews but the specs seem identical.

I can't comment on this exact model but XFX has been in the business for a very long time (they started making AMD/ATI cards in 2009 and were making NVIDIA cards prior to that) and have been one of the top AIB's for AMD cards. They aren't some new or unknown brand so it's most likely a good buy. Sapphire is another company to look out for.

I have that exact ASRock card. I'd get whatever is less expensive or fits your build aesthetics better.

I'm able to OC my ASRock a little bit further and undervolt it quite a bit. So it runs cooler and faster, I'm happy with it from that perspective. You'll likely be able to do the same with this xfx card.

I'm not happy with the ASRock because the RGB doesn't play nice with the my Asus TUF MB. As a result, I just let it do it's own thing with the RGB while all my fans and the MB itself is synced with Asus' RGB controls.

I've had the ASRock card for about 7 months with no problems. Even got a manufacture rebate from them without any issues.
