I got this last week. It's not as sturdy as it looks. The material seems cheap, but it works for a regular bike. I put it on an ebike and the thing vibrates like crazy. I cut off the ends where the hooks go.

Sounds like a problem with the bike, not the basket.

yes it could be. if the basket material was thicker with more weight to it, it wouldn't vibrate as much. if you need something sturdy, i wouldn't recommend this one.
