    That was the R6 I believe, cheaper model than this. This one has local dimming and about double the peak brightness. IDK why it's getting the thumbs down it's a solid price for a good step up from the 2-300 tv's. Not as good as the 5-series TCL tv's but they are also 100 or so more.

    Anyone have one and know if you can adjust the motion settings? I see a lot of people say you can't and some saying you can laugh out loud Only thing holding me back, I hate the soap opera effect and would have to send it back if I couldn't turn it off.

    My Hisense U8G died after just two years and that was one of their higher models. I'm staying away from this brand.
