That was the R6 I believe, cheaper model than this. This one has local dimming and about double the peak brightness. IDK why it's getting the thumbs down it's a solid price for a good step up from the 2-300 tv's. Not as good as the 5-series TCL tv's but they are also 100 or so more.

Anyone have one and know if you can adjust the motion settings? I see a lot of people say you can't and some saying you can Only thing holding me back, I hate the soap opera effect and would have to send it back if I couldn't turn it off.

Quantum dot plus local dimming is definitely worth it IMO but that's up to you to decide

What's wrong with Fire TV? I have an Amazon tv and it works fine for me, way better and faster than Roku TV. I saw this tv deal and was looking to upgrade my 55" TCL tv that I paid $328 back in 2020

I need to upgrade my patio tv. I think I'm going to pull the trigger. I have an enclosure that can fit a 60" at the max. So looks like this is it.
I have the a 55" version of the 6 series roku version of this tv and it's great.
I have a roku I can throw in this thing, but I assume that FireTV has all the apps Roku does, no?
Can I stream the MLB app, ESPN+, etc on this thing?
