Just fyi - i bought something like this marketed as "triple display" - just be aware that if you use all three, your built in laptop screen will likely turn off given processing limitations - so NOT 3 *additional* screens + 1 laptop screen = 4 total. No, It's 3 *total* no matter what. At least this is the case with lenovo x240
1) This is not a KVM switch
2) This is not a Thunderbolt dock. MacOS doesn't support MST (Multi-Stream Transport) over USB - i.e. you can only have the same mirrored image across all external monitors.

Has anyone had good experience using this with other brands of l laptops? Specifically Lenovo? Just needs a USB 3.O/thunderbolt port right? The extra card is built into the docking station? Any drivers needed for non dell device?
Anyone know if we can connect Mac mini m2 and MacBook pro intel version with two monitors using this ? So basically want to know if it supports kvm switch for two computers and two monitors
