I was totally going to buy this but I saw the weight being 2.07 lbs. I think there's a Netgear for 2.04 lbs for only $70 more. I think we can all agree that weight should be top consideration when buying a home router.

Was literally just looking at this. Thanks for selling it out 😂 needs two 2.5g ports or I'd have two of them.

It's a 2x2 radio on 2.4 and 5ghz bands, so not too unexpected.

I'm pretty tempted at this price, but I already have a U6 LR.

On OG Google mesh. Want to upgrade to the Pro because I need a wider coverage between house and detached garage using mesh and 6 for VR and mocap stuff.
I'm stuck on Google because our entire ecosystem is and the Google Nest Pro works with their Google Home app.
And suggestions?

I purchased a wifi6 router recently and my speed went from 90 to 250 on my computer. cable provider is at 500mpbs. will wifi-6e bring even better speeds?
My computer card says "wifi 6E ax211 160mhz"

On another computer, my speed is still under 100mbps because I am using old usb wifi adapter, and it can only connect to 2.4ghz band on the router. A wifi6 adapter will help me in that case too? if yes, Any good reccomendations?

I have a Google Nest Wifi Mesh system and absolutely hate it. Constant connection drops due to the main router overheating when I have full network congestion for more than ~5 minutes. Absolutely ridiculous that I have to manually throttle things like FTP transfers on my network. I understand that the Pro is better, but for the price they're asking it better cook me dinner and give me a blowjob. I'm likely going to just go to Ubiquity, spend a small fortune, and call it a day for what will probably be a decade before needing to upgrade again.

Edit: Also, if you're using an Oculus it has tons of trouble when it comes to keeping stable connections with mesh networks. IMO, if that's what you have for your headset you might want to look into a second router dedicated just to that. Netgear often has a WiFi6 router on sale for only $30 and It's been serving me well as an access point dedicated just for my Oculus. You will have to tinker with settings on your modem, Google router, and the second router to avoid a double (or even triple) NAT, which will also cause tons of connection issues

You Sir or Ma'amz, are my favorite person today. Thank you for such a thought-out and helpful response.

I am too tied to everything in that app working so I hope the Pros do a damn good job. Also, Costco had a four-for-the-price-of-three sale and that makes the price better...I guess.
If I may ask, what's so good about Ubiquity?

I am not sure about the person that wrote the review I have had the router along with my Netgear Orbi and a Nighthawk AXE11000 WiFi Router (RAXE500) that I also tested before being released. The performance on all bands is pretty good on 5GHz I have over 500 MPs download and upload speed with 54 devices connected.

Many people write a review based upon using it somewhere for a short period of time. I have had the router since before it was being sold to the public. It is a solid router was the original price crazy high yes, is 279.00 too high probably considering the Mesh tribands are that price for at least 2 units, for 100 bucks it is a steal in my opinion. Right now I have a TP-Link ER7206 Omada Gigabit VPN Router I have both Comcast and Fiber coming in and 3 routers going out with 3 seperate networks.

I can test any device using any of the 3 networks for real world comparison in a house, so take reviews for what they are worth but the Linksys is solid and the large size and ventilation is a major plus because heat kills routers.
