Have been using this air fryer toaster oven for years and it's been excellent. Manual knobs are easier to use than many of the electronic buttons.

I always turn the temp down by 50 degrees lower than what is listed on the cooking instructions. I'm on my second one in 5 years.

Don't force the timer to end, just leave the door open and let it run out. Also the air bake heats top and bottom and the air fry heats only from the top.
We had one for years and it was very consistent and good for everything except toast. Sometimes came out perfect, exact same settings repeated would come out burned, and sometimes one side would be way darker than the other. No real rhyme or reason to it. So if you mainly care about toast, this is not what you want. If you mainly care about air frying or baking it works well, timing is just not super precise with the analog controls. For $30 more, I'd get the flip up Ninja from Costco which is what we bought to replace it and it works great for everything.

Agreed. Solid unit. Ours is probably 5+ years old now.

I'm seeing a lot of reviews with the temp being finicky/inconsistent. Can anyone comment to that? Otherwise, seems great at the price.

You do need to adjust a little lower on temps because it will cook the outside too fast, you kinda figure it out after awhile. We have had this one for years and really like it.

Works great but ignore whatever the food package suggests. Even at 300F, it can quickly burn the food so you really need to keep an eye on it.

Didn't realize that... so wouldn't it be better to use air bake over air fry...to air fry?

I use the air bake for pizza and the air fry for things like fries, the air fry setting seems to push more hot air around.

Solid unit for past four years. Manual knobs are better than electronic one. Buying another one for raining day. Thanks Ops!

Sometimes our timer doesn't seem to work. Is it because we are forcing it to zero?

Yes! Just let it run out on its own with the door open.

It is definitely a problem for mine. Therefore be sure to have a thermometer. The thermometer I got is too tall for convenience but it definitely shows temperatures at least 50 degrees higher than what the setting says. I burned many things using this.
