It says tactile in the listing, that is closest to Brown switches. Red are linear, blue are clicky.

Is there like a real reason for this new trend of TKL? Like, I can't stand a KB without TK. Ya'll use that looooong aaaaaasss liiiiiine line at the top of your keyboard for numbers?? God forbid if you had to use a calculator lol...

There are tons of amazing TKL keyboards out there for $50-80, Logitech keyboards are overpriced and low quality anyways, they feel super cheap.

There's a Keychron deal up right now that's a much better buy.

Do yourself a favor and get a Keychron instead. There are so many better mechanical keyboards out there that you can get for $45 and below.

I personally like it because it takes up less space than TK, but it has all the necessary buttons without the weird FN key functionality. I only use my keyboard for gaming and coding though so to each their own.

I got a $40 AOC keyboard+mouse and it worked better than the $110 SteelSeries it replaced. I still want a better keyboard but if you need to replace your keyboard, there are worse things than cheap ones.

If you can touch type numbers and enter numbers occasionally (vast majority of people outside of those who do data entry), then the numpad is superfluous. If you need data entry for work, there are standalone USB num pads.

I have been using TKLs exclusively at home for the past 10 years (except for a brief stint with a 60% KB). The main benefit is ergonomics/space, especially for people who game. A more narrow keyboard means less space between the left hand (on home row or WASD) and right. As a result, your right arm is abducted/shoulder is externally rotated. It also gives more space for the mouse to move if you play with low DPI, and a bit more desk space in general.

A bigger issue I have is with laptop manufacturers putting numpads on keyboards that are already narrow, resulting in cramped typing with practically no benefit for me (other than in old DOS games that use numpad input).

I couldn't live without my 10-key. Now if I could only keep my desk clean enough not to interfere with it...
