And coming from personal experience, that MOBO is total garbage. You were warned.Edit: I'm half asleep. I'm referring to the Asus Z790 Prime Wifi board. Oops.
As for the chip itself, I did a hand-me-down to another build and upgraded to a 13700K. Wow do I miss the temps on the 12th gen. The 13700K at basically stock clock *idles* at 40C with a Corsair 420mm AIO. Overclocked it's at 41-42C. Exact same setup for the 12700K - a frosty 28C, 29C overclocked.
