A 10' cheapo board is a waste of money. If under 120lbs, maybe. These short boards don't track well, zero glide, and this brand is bottom of the barrel. Move to a minimum of 11' or better, a 11'6" board for stability and figure on spending $300 and up. These cheap boards push more people away from the sport since they don't perform, not easy to balance on, and most of these Amazon sellers are here today, gone tomorrow with no warranty. Lots of people get stung.
That's a bit extreme in my opinion. Sure larger board are more stable but i started with a cheap one like this one and had tons of fun with it. My kids did too and we still have it and use it once in a while. But if you are over 200lbs for sure you will be better investing in a larger one. The quality seems very similar accross the many brands I have seen, so as long as the review don't a say otherwise you should be good.

I'm in 2 large paddle board groups (kayak too) and there are quite a few who buy by low price only and then discover a modest move up the quality and price ladder will a definite improvement. I've also been p boarding for right at 10 years, kayaking for 30+ so not the new kid on the block. Some just move on and make the blanket statement of trying the sport and hating it. Guarantee if someone test paddles a 10' with a 11' or longer board, they will always choose the longer, stiffer, more stable board. I hate spending money only to discover that for a bit more I could get a much better product. In the end, quality and the right tool for the job always wins. If for kids or small adults, this should work, but certainly not as well as a longer board.
Only one of the colors on sale had 90-day return from Walmart so I got that one. It's almost a no-brainer if you have a Walmart Plus subscription to just buy it and try it. 90 days is a lot of time to determine if the quality is good enough to keep for this price

If we're going to talk right tools for the job, I'd also suggest people upgrade their paddle to a fiberglass paddle. Even a fiberglass paddle makes paddling way more pleasant IMO. I'll never use an aluminum paddle again.

Could you please elaborate?
I know nothing about it and wanted to buy one. I found both of the only two SUP on Amazon with over 10k review are 10 feet. Maybe double price and double quality?

Amason is loaded with fake reviews so proceed cautiously. Here's a very decent board for $199. and an additional $25.0ff. It's from iRocker which is a well known company with a up to 3 year warranty and 45 day return window. It's 10'6" x 32" and looks fine. So for just a bit more $ you get yourself a much nicer board. https://irockersup.com/products/n...ddle-board
EDIT: ok, this iRocker does not come with a paddle, but here's a link to where I have purchased 2 isup paddles for cheap and excellent quality. Don't know if a return, but both of mine arrived in new condition. Take another 20% off too. So for under $20 you have a quality paddle by Body Glove.https://paddlersoutlet.com/Certif...UP-Paddle/

Not this but one for SD that was nearly as cheep. Yea it's cheep but man suspending some of the valid complaints in this thread and taking it for whet it is. We have had ours for two years and dang so we have fun with it. Kids and wife have probably out in over 50 hrs of use and still have a blast. So yeah it can still be fun.
