When they don't tell you the battery brand, it's almost certain that the batteries are unbranded cheap cells.

50% of cost is the batteries, so if you're looking at ebikes, buy ones with branded cells that will last. LG,Panasonic, samsung are nice batteries.

These bikes are complete junk they're marked up three times it costs so they can advertise a sale I would stay away from this

If that were true, one would wonder why Specialized would spec a 320 watt motor on a $14k mountain e-bike. https://www.specialized.com/us/en...374-216821

Perhaps some people actually pedal their e-bikes and use the motor for a little extra help or speed. After all, they are bicycles and they do come with pedals.

When they don't tell you the battery brand, it's almost certain that the batteries are unbranded cheap cells.

50% of cost is the batteries, so if you're looking at ebikes, buy ones with branded cells that will last. LG,Panasonic, samsung are nice batteries.

These bikes are complete junk they're marked up three times it costs so they can advertise a sale I would stay away from this

Anyone have experience with the Tailslide e mountain bike? Only found one YouTube video and it's from a seller so looking for a more neutral POV

Have you owned these? Looking at the specs they seem ok plus with UL. Alot of the others ones you see don't have that.

350watt motor is nowhere near enough for anything but low grade hill climbs. I'm 6' 180lbs, and got myself a 350watt commuter that goes up to 18mph, it tops out at 6mph up a moderate paved hill. On fresh battery, getting slower each pass. I can only imagine mountain biking with 350watt motor, you'd be pushing it up after a couple of hills and these electric bikes weight more than non electric ones.

I've got a 5 year old Bafang 500 watt rear motor on a very nice Biktrix city bike. With pedalling, I may get 3 miles. It used to get 25 when new. Replacement batteries are approaching some of these clearance bikes. I now ride a Marin road bike an hour a day and there's no worry about the battery dying. They're fun for a few years then expensive.

They're junk and they disconnect their phone lines when there's an issue. Discover and PayPal were of little to no help resolving.
