'snoo head' is a real thing. if you're going to have kids, those first 3 months are going to be hell, if not longer sometimes. dad of 4 kids, this product can hurt in the long term.

What do you mean? How is it any different from a kid sleeping flat on their backs without a snoo? Thanks!

Even donation centers and thrift stores refuse any baby equipment due to liability/health concerns.

a brand new Snoo cost $1600 to own, or alternatively $160 per month to rent.
just guessing, but these refurb Snoos are probably the rentals that have been rented X amount of times, or returns.

Happiestbaby is the manufacturers website so these are likely to similar spec as new. It's not just a third party making repairs or cleaning used baby stuff.

IMO (im not a medical doctor), there's no difference if your kid's head position is always the same but the Snoo may restrict a lot of body movement which may contribute to a flatter head. Our doctor recommends lots of tummy time and i've seen products out there like the Tortle Hat or the Helmet. Results may vary.
I would take any parenting advice/ experience with a grain of salt though.
