For anyone who thinks this laptop is right for them, and has been waiting on a sale, JUMP ON THIS. This laptop is fantastic and the spec bump to 16gb ram means it's a great portable work/productivity computer. The entire thing is extremely well built, the trackpad and keyboard are great for something that's only 2.2 lbs, and the charger is insanely tiny and light which makes a difference if you're trying to bring an ultraportable. The screen being 2k and 16:10 means you can fit a meaningful amount of spreadsheet/doc on the screen without feeling too cramped. The only gripe I had with this was the battery life and the price. Battery life is just fine. 5-7 hours on a charge usually. In a world where an M1 macbook air can get 12+ hours on a charge it makes this a harder sell. I really liked this thing though in case you can't tell.

Even MacBook battery rating is BS. i have a mb pro which was supposed to get 10hrs which i don't think i've ever witness. now only after 2-3yrs i'll be happy just to get 2-4 hrs.

I have an i7 version, I thought they were rated at 13 hours. Certainly NOT 5 hours of run time, lol. Mac ratings are exaggerated, they usually get less than 5 hours.

the m1/m2 macbook airs that came out 2020 and after have a significant bump in battery life. When doing less intensive tasks like browsing/document work, you should see double or triple the battery life you were getting on your i7.

Which is a like workload comparison, duh. But macs are way overrated, like they do it with a pure black screen with nothing happening.
Anyway, these X1 nano's perform well and this one has some pretty good specs.
There is always someone to provide unsolicited feedback without any data or evidence. Show us an equivalent or better deal rather than providing your meaningless advice.
