Dual camera with forward and down-facing package cameras. Manufacturer refurb. Not someone wiping it off with a dirty rag like standard eBay or Amazon "refurbs."

$199 new product on Amazon for those without Prime. $136 sale price with Prime. $120 for a certified "like new" refurb is a very good price already.

Eufy accepted my firm offer for $99.99 after an initial $94.99 offer to see if they'd respond.

They responded with $114.99.

I responded with a "firm" offer for $99.99 with this note: "This is a fair (firm) offer as new ones on Amazon are $135.99 and may well be cheaper during Prime Day with further discounts."

Accepted.

Linky: https://www.ebay.com/itm/385055885742

Product page on Amazon FYI: https://www.amazon.com/eufy-Secur...B09QFK3JWS

Works with new S380 Homebase 3 and older Homebase models.

2-year Allstate Warranty included instead of the one year manufacturer warranty.

Meanwhile, don't believe everything you read about Eufy from "influencers," as the knee-jerk press did. The comparatively minor issues (compared to the horror stories at Ring!) have been fixed, by the way.

Oh this is the inferior battery operated version, I'd always go wired if possible. Faster detection speed. 3 second pre recording too. The one downside is that the wired version is not yet compatible with the home base 3 yet, if that matters to someone. The wired version uses a body heat and radar sensor at all times while the battery can't use those sensors running at all times or it would drain the battery. so it conserves it's usage. The wired version will have less false positives or issues.

My home was built with a crappy wireless doorbell and chime. No wires. So, I'd have to do some drilling, running wire, etc. This is easier due to it being wireless. And compared to the competition (and serious privacy concerns with Ring and them turning off services for no reason), this is the best system, considering that I got the Homebase 3 last week for $80. FYI, you can hook this up to a standard doorbell wiring for power and not depend on batteries.

According to my Eufy doorbell's AI, one of the trees on the street is human and is coming to get me. And they say AI will take over the world.

I beta-tested a Blink system. It's much worse (and very blurry). It kept sounding an alarm for a person at the front door. When it was a cat.

What's the battery life on this? My Google nest can only last for about 4-5 days with video off.

Depends on how much activity it registers, obviously. 4 to 6 months before recharging according to eufy.
