Heard one in person awhile back. For its size and convenience it's amazing. Makes a $400 Sonos Beam look like a toy.

is there a way to power them outside of the batteries for the rear speakers? Hate the fact that the JBL satellite speakers will be annoying to repair when the batteries start degrading over time. I see in the manual you can charge the speakers with a USB cable instead but will it play while it's charging or leaving the cable plugged in? otherwise nice price reduction from it's initial launch price.

Short of busting them open and replacing the batteries I don't think there is any other way. The manual might have something on it.

I have this system, you can permanently wire the satellite speaker for power using a micro USB cable.

This is a smoking hot deal, usual price is like $999. This is a great system if you can't go into the walls to hardwire a true home theater, or you don't want wires from a semi-wireless setup (the wires from the subwoofer to the satellite).

This is usually how much the non-Atmos bar costs.

Great for casual use, we only detach and use the surround function once a month or so. More serious audiophiles should probably pass.

I have this speaker set in my media room connected to a projector , i am very satisfied with the output . Go buy it if you are looking for one . Its been one year too , no issues till now .
