1 gig ddr4 cache, better than the team group mp34, which has 3-10 variations in ram speeds, controllers and flash. The Intel 670p is cheaper, at $40, but the chache is ddr3 and from what I can gather, only 256 meg's across all their models. If you want dram cache in the 40-50 range, this is pretty good.

Yea that heatsinks the one I use personally. It's a solid one/excellent. I'm gonna pick up some spares, they're usually 11-14 bucks last I looked at them. Thank you!

What about for general everyday use... Say vs SN850X or similar.. Would you see the difference?

for general use you want reliability and Crucial brand is fairly reliable. At least it's not some cheap Chinese brand like Teamgroup. I think the 1TB Samsung 980 Pro is $10 more (as an option).
