You can buy 8x8 photo book in Groupon for $4 and apply unlimited pages coupon. Then you will get 110 pages 8x8 hard cover book for around $12 ($4 Groupon+$8 shipping)
Your mom would appreciate it. You could give it to her. Lay it out in the table. Give her good memories.
I'm interested in doing that but I want to make sure it works first...
I'm here for the comments, and they did not disappoint :-)

Has anyone tried Groupon for this deal? Did it work?

Here's the groupon link for anyone who needs it. $4.50.
Most importantly, next time I will be paying the upcharge for the lay-flat center (on the 8x8) because half of my dog memorial book was screwed up due to the binding eating up so much of the pages.

- Groupon discounted photo-book combined with free add-on pages (upto 111 pages) are the best value.
- When using Groupon coupon for photo-book itself, you need to pay shipping though, even if all your add-ons (Deluxe layflat, 6-color printing etc) takes the price over $29. (i.e. Free shipping on $29+ doesn't work when you use Groupon)
- Strongly recommend at least standard layflat to make sure your entire photo is visible. Consider splurging on Deluxe layflat if you want 'cutless' full-page spread. (i.e. a 8x8 photobook becomes a bunch of 8x16 printed pages folded in half)
- I paid for 6-color printing on one of my projects, but can't really tell if they turned out better cuz of that or because I upgraded to Deluxe layflat + glossy finish. Anyway, 4-color prints look good enough IMO.
- 'Auto enhance' feature (turned on automatically for every photo you add) messes up colors in print IMO, and so we turn it off for every photo.
- Shipping fees increase as you move from 6x6 to 12x12, but only by a few dollars. So the biggest savings during these sales is if you order the largest sizes.
- Pro-tip: Free unlimited pages offer runs roughly every 1-2 months and apply for any sized photobook. Decide on what size photo book you want, purchase and add corresponding Groupon to account, and start designing the book during your free time - it takes a lot of time if you want to design meticulously. Keep them in your account, simply checkout when the next promo runs.
- For a vacation photobook, it'd be a great practice to keep adding pages as you take more photos, and begin a new book once your first book hit the 111 page limit. If you can standardize the same sized book and cover, you could have multiple volumes of photobook spanning years / decades. Would be a GREAT keepsake. (And for that reason, consider Deluxe layflat + Glossy finish)
