"For the next seven days only, get an incredible 70% off ALL TorGuard Service Plans - this includes our renowned VPN Service, the Premium V2ray Proxy, and the unmatched security of the Private VPN Cloud. Use the promo code "Independence" at the checkout to unlock these incredible savings."

I got 70% off their triennial (3 year) service. Ended up paying $33/year. Pretty slick!!

Unclear VPN data collection policies.

They appear to be using Google Analytics to collect anonymized data. In addition, they collect Apache Webserver logs.
As seems to be the case with most US-based services, the Terms of Service is full of legalese protecting the company from liability and binding the user to the terms of the DMCA (Digital Millennium Copyright Act).

It would be helpful if the company provided more details on the data it collects, including how long it retains such data. This is particularly important in light of where the company is based.

Based in the US (bad privacy jurisdiction).

This is Honeypot?
According to this website , torrenting is blocked on torguard.

Anyone try or use their streaming bundle? It give you two streaming IP, I want to stream some shows form Asia Netflex. I wonder if it is worth it, I already have the Anonymous VPN service for years and it works fine.

I kept the same plan, they sent me a new bill of $42 for 3 years. Savings of $16 from previous deal of $30 per year.
yeah in hindsight I should have just kept the same regular plan. I don't think English was my contacts first language because it was very broken and hard to understand. Keeping it simple is best.

I've had Torguard for years and its been going downhill
I never get notified of updates (as I used to) and have to check site for any
Random disconnects happen and some large cities have more problems than others

Or you can pay $39+ per year. Seems fair to me if Windscribe is what you are after.

I agree. Don't the experts say if it's a vpn based in the U.S., don't use it?! Or something like that?

Same here. It's really been a great VPN and I've tried a few. One post says it is US-based. I don't believe it was when I signed up. Romania I thought.

This site is very out of date, and doesn't do their research. They also said WireGuard doesn't work with TorGuard (or couldn't at the time of their review) so yeah, they don't really know what they are talking about.

Not true. I use multiple US servers.

That's very concerning, but what's the source of that info? How do I know if any VPN provider has confidentiality agreements with movie studios?
