Price per pound has literally double since 2020. It used to be around $45-50 for 11lb of whey ISOLATE. I understand inflation but this is insanity.
I would not do business with a company that continues to rip off and abuse their customers when there is plenty of high quality options around with better prices.
Couldn't agree more! Just left my recent experiences with this company as well, and in short, gave me the satisfaction guarantee runaround for a month, only to tell me the product I purchased (11lb chocolate smooth isolate) tastes as intended, which apparently is plastic and chemicals....absolutely disgusting product AND customer service!

I remember when they started selling a couple of years ago everybody really loved them for the price. But you can clearly see how their horrible customer service is taking down their business. Goes without saying no business is ever successful. If you just think you can provide shit customer service

According to my order history: on 6/9/21, I purchased three 5.5 lb Impact Whey Protein from that site for $18.32 each. Now they're 50% off for $45 each. Crazy how inflation goes.
Protein prices came down. Supply chain driven inflation no longer exists. It's just the companies holding on to higher prices.
In 2020 March I bought 11lb impact Why protein for $47. Now its $170+Tax. Even if I apply 50% off prices are still way higher than it was before.
I refuse to pay these insane prices

I found the muscle milk chocolate flavor to be pretty alright; how does the "impact whey protein - chocolate brownie" taste?

I recently switched to unflavored and a decent deal is BulkSupplements. Once in a while they'll have a coupon for 20% off.

Conversely they have a 44lb for $338 right now which would make it under $8/lb. But of course depends on if you consume that much. For me, 44 lbs would last a half year, so depending on expiry they would be pretty clutch.
thanks for the suggestion. I will research.

The one i switched to if Now Sports unflavored. Expensive but quality ingredients from when I researched them a while back.

I don't but from my protein anymore after they shafted a bunch of their loyal customers before with canceled orders and not honoring prices.

Obvious shill post from MyProtein - their protein per dollar value hasn't been worth it in like 3 years ever since they demolished the affordability.

MUCH better deal on far better quality protein here: https://slickdeals.net/f/16759964-10-lb-optimum-nutrition-gold-standard-100-whey-protein-powder-vanilla-ice-cream-89-59-w-s-s-free-shipping

Two different artificial sweetners that's puffing great!
how is that a better deal? 73$ for 5.5lbs for isolate? where 5lbs of Dymatize was between 45$ to 53$
that's not really a good deal on isolate at all.

I thought they got bought out?

Nice that they are having this deal, but the deal itself is crap. For some reason MyProtein is the lone hold-out on keeping their protein powder at inflation-peak prices. I can get unflavored whey isolate for less than $10/lb and this has it at a little over $13...

Can you buy dry whey in consumer quantities/where? I'd be willing to buy up to 50-lb at a time.
See the following thread for information on buying isolate direct from the farm for prices similar to what was being sold pre-2021:
https://slickdeals.net/f/16716002-2-2-lb-myprotein-impact-whey-isolate-various-2-for-40-free-shipping

Everyone stop buying from supplement companies until they fall back in line and stop accepting the abuse as a consumer
