It's just a rebranding of e15 gas (15% ethanol, 85% gasoline). It's apparently more environmentally friendly, probably because of the high ethanol content, which comes from corn, barley, etc, but I've read that it can affect the performance of some cars.

Likely the left coast, according to google, average gas price ranges from under $3 in Mississippi to nearly $5 in Cali/Oregon/Washington.

I shudder to thing what I'd be paying for diesel out there.... :o
