Not thread dumping -- but these Amazon Brands did not test very well at work ... believe it or not the best longest lasting batteries we have tested and are using are the AC DELCO brand ...

The Amazons really was the middle of the pack in longevity with the AC Delco's lasting significantly longer ... not sure how the pricing compares ....

Good price but many recent reviews not good. Will stick with Eneloops and pay a few bucks more.

I think these are fine for use in remotes or devices that draw low voltage. Picked up a 24 pack of these AAA for cheap. That should cover me for the next 3-5 years. And if I'm lucky, 5-10

How long do your Eneloop batteries last? The last I bought Eneloop batteries was in 2011 and they still charge and work fine.

What do you mean by "last"? Run time, charge cycles, or self discharge?

Everything, really. The old Amazon Basics were made in Japan and generally regarded as very high quality batteries.

I've noticed the Chinese made ones self discharge very quickly. When they are up for duty in the rotation I have to re-charge them before using them. They also seem to not last in devices as long. But that could just be anecdotal and I'm already pissed off about how crappy they are compared to past Amazon Basics batteries.

Don't listen to the battery snobs. These work fine for "basic" use and for the price can't go wrong.
Wish AA was on sale, have plenty AAA.

I concur as well and experienced it first hand. I have both of these Amazon rechargeable aaa vs the Panasonic envelop aaa (made in Japan), the Roku remote last twice as long with the envelop than the Amazon ones.

I've bought four different kinds of rechargeable batteries over the years: IKEA, EBL, POWEROWL, and Amazon (the latter three through Amazon).

Amazon batteries are dead last in terms of anyone's preference in the family. Granted the EBLs and POWEROWLS are rated at 15% greater capacity, but they last way more than 15% longer.

I'm not planning on buying any more Amazon Basics rechargeable batteries personally. My $.02.

Where do IKEA ones stand?

Amazon AA is on sale 24 for $20

Amazon Perfect for seldom use. For high drain use EBL and Duracell rechargeable on clearance.

Gotta charge in smart chargers. if people are using cheap timer chargers, these get ruin in a few charges
