initiated a trade in, got confirmation email that 20% discount will be applied automatically during the checkout, but when I check out, the discount is not there ,wth?

Does anyone know if you can just trade in the stick without a remote? My dog annihilated the remote of my fire stick 4k Max. Thanks in advance.

Don't need anything except the device itself, hit no during trade in accessories option.

Do these perform better than previous generations? I bought a Fire Stick back in 2020 and it became so sluggish that it was unusable after a while

All of the firesticks do. You basically have to wipe them after a year or two and they speed back up.

Not sure if trade in is working for anyone. I don't see any trade in 20% discount on my account. I only see it on the fire cube. Otherwise it's just asking for my fire tv 4K and giving me $5 for it

You don't get the discount until amazon actually receives the trade in device. This is from past trade in's. I don't know if they changed it.
