Thats a good deal. Has a GPU waterblock for when you do decide to get into it.

If there are heating issues, before trying to re paste it or send it back check if there is room to tighten the screws. The cooling block may not be seated on the die properly due to lose screws.

Wish Radeon cards worked better with home PC AI junk so I could stop buying NVIDIA products. Stupid CUDA cores.

How does this compare to the Sapphire Nitro+? Being Gigabyte, I assume it's a nice version of the XTX?

The 7900XT is ~80% of the performance of the 7900XTX for ~80% of the price. What are you getting at? The 7900XT was incredibly overpriced at the $900 MSRP and the prices have corrected to be more in line with the performance. They're both still overpriced (equally) considering AMD's massive cost savings due to the chiplet design. They're still not as overpriced as Nvidia's 40 series, but that's where we're at this generation until people stop buying these overpriced cards. Either choose the lesser of two evils or don't buy at all (what I'm doing). The better value is to buy last generation cards.

Can you still play frame-packed 3d blu-rays and 3d games using these cards? I know Nvidia dropped that feature years ago now and you really have to tinker to get it to work. AMD just worked for a while, but not sure if these new ones still support it.

terrible for VR. there are driver issues which make this worse than the 6950 XT for VR.

VR anything go with Nvidia
