Also those mentioning this was cheaper in the past can you link the SD thread. I tried finding them, but can't find the IG651 for the prices stated above. Curious to compare the type of refurb, warranty, etc between the deals.
Here's one from a few months ago, but more than $100. https://slickdeals.net/f/15638053-ninja-ig651-foodi-smart-xl-pro-7-in-1-indoor-grill-griddle-combo-refurbished-183-99-free-s-h-w-prime?v=1&src=S
edit: nvm those seem to be the 6 in 1, so different model.
How's their "Factory Refurbs"?

The unit is large. When I got it my wife was not happy. It was too large for her. It came about a week after we ordered a new oven that had been broken/inconsistent for years. Well she finally set it up with our son who likes to cook and it hasn't come off the counter yet. It gets used multiple times a week. She likes the temperature probe, but says it is not set and forget because the thing beeps and you need to turn over your food.
I asked her if it was easy to clean, as that has been a complaint online, but she said not really. I would expect that if it was too hard to clean she would have removed it from the counter.
The parts received look very good if not perfect. The cleaning brush of course was new.
Ill take a gamble on a $100 one that comes with an extended warranty for a year.
I was just looking into the IG651 as I want the thermometer. Thanks!

This definitely is an improvement, but I have some gripes. I believe the manual says the grill is not dishwasher safe, but the Ninja website says otherwise. The grill insert is a lot heavier versus the pan you must put in the other model so it makes it a lot more difficult to hand wash, but I've seen a lot of youtubers say it is dishwasher safe so you are probably fine throwing it in there. The grill is slanted so if you are cooking anything slippery sometimes it will slide down to the end and into the drip pan. Since the drip pan is built into the grill insert it is difficult to clean the sides unless you have a small brush to dig in there.
The griddle is pretty nice, but is it pretty small since it sits in the middle of the grill insert. My biggest complaint is the lid. Ninja needs to make this removable as there are too many corners grease and stuff get stuck in which makes it a PIA to clean.
For 100 dollars though I think this is a great deal though. Just be aware of the above if you are coming from one that does not heat from the bottom. Also the thermometer is a pretty nice option (I had it on my small ninja grill). I think I got this around 130 brand new (non thermometer version) as there was a sale on amazon a while back.
