Solid deal, it's been lower prior but not a bad price. Just not the cheapest for those curious

I recently pulled the trigger and bought this exact GPU when it was going for $567 and I do not regret the decision. It's amazing performance running 2x 1440p 144hz monitor.
I can max out any game that I currently play in 1440p.

If people are still debating the rx6950xt vs rx7900xt, remember the rx7900xt is still more expensive, but it is up to you if you want to pay for latest and greatest.
I was one of you guys waiting for prices to come down, but eventually everyone can't wait anymore. I decided I don't mind last gen's greatest, it should last me many years until I decide to go 4k monitors. I finally upgraded my 8 year old rx480 8gb. I am hoping this rx6950xt will last me another 5-8 years too Big Grin

Happy shopping guys!

I was going between this and the 7900xtx. Pulled the trigger on the 6950xt earlier this week at $619 and am really excited for it...unless ofcourse the 7900xtx goes for $700ish on prime day.

Was thinking about building a new pc for the am5 platform but realized I only use my pc for youtube, school, and occasional gaming. So, I went ahead and bought the 6950xt along with the 5800x3d. Coming from 2700x and gtx 1060 6gb. Cheers.

Sounds like even those specs are overkill for what you need.

Not criticizing, just an observation. On the upside, you shouldn't need an upgrade for a few years.

What is your power usage on idle with the two monitors? I also bought one of these during the sale you mentioned but am hesitant to install it after reading all the reports of ~100w power usage with dual monitors.

Amazon added a $10 coupon as well. I'm not sure if it's select accounts, though.

My Sapphire Nitro 6950XT Pure idle was 40-50W dual monitor (1440p/260hz and 1440p/144hz). I moved my 2nd monitor to the iGPU and my 6950XT idle is now 9-15W.
