When I first got it, I hated it. It constantly missed the dock and I had a fairly open floorplan with little obstacles. One update and everything changed. It's awesome now. I reuse the bag in the dock, I use the wand on my Shark vacuum to completely clear it out before putting it back in the dock.

When I first got it, I hated it. It constantly missed the dock and I had a fairly open floorplan with little obstacles. One update and everything changed. It's awesome now. I reuse the bag in the dock, I use the wand on my Shark vacuum to completely clear it out before putting it back in the dock.

You can buy an "oscillating" mop attachment off aliX for like $35 that is fully compatible where it basically scrubs the floor so it is much more effective. Can get reusable or disposable pads for it. I love it but it is noisy.

That being said the Prime sales are coming and there are tons of deals on the higher end models coming soon that yes cost way more than this but have self emptying/refilling stations with more advanced features.
One in particular is the Roborock Dream 2 which if I read the advertisement right should be either $600 or $650 and it comes with one of those fancy bases that refill the water, and clean the mop pad, as well as clean out the dust bin. Really tempted, I have 2 ihome robots that together do well, but this would be another level.
Our Ralphie has some trouble with high ply carpet on a memory foam cushion but figured it out after awhile. He also leaves stuff in corners but that's likely the cheap Amazon replacement parts we got.
It's the only one I've had and has been going since 2018-19
I have this, got it $300 new off craigslist and it's served me well. I do find it losing my home from time to time which is rather frustrating when I haven't moved the vacuum since I set it up so I don't know why it would be that lost that it loses my entire map.
