Some just put a small bucket inside this one for clean water and the dirty water will be spun out in the bottom of the o cedar bucket. Then you plunge back into the clean bucket. Dollar store "hack"

The new model is better than this one with the clean and dirty water separation. Just my opinion.

I have one of these and it's awesome. Do be careful stepping on the thing to spin it, almost broke mine one night getting carried away. I do wish the mop head was a bit bigger but I have a robot to do the daily mopping and I usually only use this for spot cleaning (thanks to 4 fluffy cats you can imagine I do a lot of that)

I *almost* look forward to mopping the kitchen floor with our O-Cedar. Aside from the centrifugal squeeze-out, the best part is the amount of scrubbing force that can easily be applied to a given area, which makes a difference with a textured vinyl floor. Was previously going through at least 3 swiffer disposable wet pads each time and it seemed like a lot more effort.

I love mine. Clean water thing is ridiculous with the newer one. Since you use the same mop, the water you put on your floor is equally dirty whether you "mop with fresh water" or not. Plus the new mop is smaller and the bucket is heavier.

Save money and buy this one. If you really want to dunk your dirty mop into fresh water each pass, get a dollar tree bucket and fill that with fresh water, set it in the water section of this bucket. It fits perfectly.

Great mop! Have the "new" version with separate water compartments, but honestly, the spinning and build quality far outweighs the separate compartments. And this one is much cheaper.

When I'm cleaning my shop the clean bucket is much cleaner than the dirty bucket and it definitely does a better job. Now my house is always immaculate so I use the single bucket one and the water looks clean when I'm done so there'd be no benefit to the dual buckets in my house.

You couldn't be more wrong. You've evidently never been responsible for mopping for income - or known someone who has. You are only dipping the mop in the cleaning solution AFTER you've done the spin-clean. Is it pristine? No. But you're not then dunking that same mop into the dirty water you just spun out.

There are even 3 bucket setups, but two is the bare minimum. Change out your rinse water regularly if you really care.

Any job worth doing is worth doing right. If you're going to use a single bucket, just use a swiffer wetjet instead.

I bought the newer one https://www.amazon.com/Cedar-Easy...08ZBDK8BT/ (exactly 1 year ago) with the intention of washing walls. (You know - the TikTok Downy make your house smell fresh. . .) This is a great price if you have the best of intentions, but probably won't get around to it. . . woot

The wall is along a flight of 13 steps. . .I'll get to it eventually!! Smilie
