That's a lot of power for your money. This shouldn't last long.

MUCH better deal than the 4060/Ti (barring DLSS, which is literally the only useful thing) or the 7600/XT

How are the sapphire cards these days? I have 1070 and looking to step up to 3060 Ti but this card seems to be on par with it. Only concerned because of bad luck with multiple sapphire cards in a row about 7 years ago.

Edit, not saying they are bad, it just asking how they are nowadays

I thought Sapphire was one of the premier AMD partners.

But I am on the same boat is you, hanging onto the workhorse of a 1070. Just bought a 1440p monitor so the GPU is showing its age. I am going to wait a tiny bit longer and see if this drops to ~$280 while waiting for the 4060ti 16gb to come out and compare against.

If Amazon had this card, I'd buy it today, just not from Newegg.

Is this an all time low? I've seen $310 quite a bit.

As long as its a quality power supply it will work fine.

The power requirements often assume you are running an I9 cpu. My sister is running a 6800xt on a 620 watt bronze f-tier without issue.

Agree with this. You can also easily undervolt the 6700 xt (which I would recommend doing).

So for someone who has been running a 5700 XT for the last few years (with no real complaints), is this worth the upgrade?

The RX 6750 XT is only $20 more right now.

Link to 6750 XT [newegg.com] $320 card for those curious.

Keep in mind it requires a rebate submission to get down to $320. While I have had no issues with rebates, I know others have.

honestly depends, i kinda look at it this way

a 6800xt at 480 is 200 ish more dollars after some extra tax right now

40 cu versus 72 cu ... and more vram at 16 gb's

being this late in the game, i guess its up to you / honestly with the 5700xt i think it would be wiser to at least get a 6800xt at just below 500 so at 1440p it will carry you to the well future product of the 8000 series and be able to wait late in its life as well

the 5700xt and 6700xt are fairly similar in the performance market that i don't see the point unless you see yourself being able to sell your 5700xt for a decent chunk to make it a small cost upgrade
