Lol actually yeah you could. Benchmarks show my PC runs about 180 wH, so if this was fully charged at 520 wH, you would get at least 2 hours of life, on paper. The reality is some power is lost inverting DC to AC, so maybe not a full 2 hours

Good deal but LiFePO4 batteries are superior to lithium and you can typically find a similar one around the same price (on sale)

Jackery is heavily promoted/shilled on social media. Likely also being promoted here. Take with grain of salt

The Jackery 500 Explorer's internal batteries are a newer technology, and more expensive than Ecoflow and Bluetti's (so-called latest) LiFePo4 batteries. Jackery's Nickel Manganese Cobalt (NMC) Lithium batteries are the prefered battery chemistry by automobile manufactures. They are very stable but can store up to 100% energy per ounce than the older LiFePo4 batteries that power station enthusiasts seem to prefer.

Ecoflow and Bluetti marketing machines have successfully waged war against Jackery (and each other of course). This has led to an unfortunate trend of faster and faster battery charging and corner cutting.

I love Jackery's for their quietness and that fact that they don't get anywhere nearly has hot in temperature as the competition. The Jackery Explorer 500's AC adapter is separate from the main unit, which reduces battery heat. The charge rate is very slow, so the batteries will barely get hot and the fan won't have to run very much. Bluetti and Ecoflow's have a default AC battery charge rate that I can only call Battery Abuse. To charge them safely, you'll need an App, so you can adjust the speed. You won't need an app with Jackery, but you will need lots of time. I think it takes 4 or 5 hours to charge the explorer 500. I'm totally fine with that, knowing that my batteries are well taken care of; plus, the unit is so quiet when charging.

As for Ecoflow's LIFePo4's longevity statistics: Those numbers are based on ideal slow charge rates--Not the default charging speed, which will greatly shorten the life of your power station. Ecoflow occasionally cuts corners with false advertising. They'll create marketing photos, what show a nice silver metallic color on the power station, but the customers receive a unit with none metallic finish--Grey actually. I wonder what other corners Ecoflow is cutting. It's all about marketing share and they are waging an impressive war.

Jackery has finally fought back with the Explorer 2000 Plus, which has fast charging and LiFePo4 Batteries. Jackery's older and more affordable power stations, however, still have lots of merit. They are super quiet and run so much cooler than most Ecoflow and Bluetti's. The biggest enemy of batteries is heat. Keep your batteries cool!
Personally, if you're going to go thag in depth in defense of a brand, the shorter reply the better. That was quite the info dump and your first paragraph conflicts with your last about LiFePo4 batteries it seems.

$150 Socal Edison Rebate - https://marketplace.sce.com/porta...vee-score/

For those of you under Edison, this rebate takes about 30 days to come back in a form of a check. I got this when I purchased a 300-watt Anker. I would've gotten this 500W if it was this price back then. Cheers!

Thanks! For getting this rebate, can we buy the qualified power station anywhere?
